iPhone 3G FM Transmitter/Charger

Post by Tizzo » July 18th, 2008, 10:10 am

Anyone out there purchase an iPhone 3G FM Transmitter/Charger? I bought the Belkin ClearCast, but it doesn't work well and I will be returning soon. I also tried a friends Monster transmitter, but that will not charge the iPhone 3G.

Any recommendations would be great, Thanks

It probably depends on your definition of working well. I never found any FM transmitter to be satisfactory, but that is my personal audio opinion.
I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.

The fcc limits the maximum signal strength of
fm transmitters so they are all destined to be crap.
Whenever a local radio station has a strong signal youll here that instead.
LG has a chocolate somthin phone w/ a transmitter / mp3 player that worked about
10 feet from the car but i didnt get to drive with away from the store so its hard to say. If you know an electrcal engineer or tech it should be easy
for them to ad a signal amplifier circuit to a cheap one.
they can get the parts at radio shack.
