iPhone icons and wallpaper themes
Hey tell me what you think about this idea thought an please definitely add. I think that the iTunes app store should sell the icon themes that change yet icons and wallpaper to match. Like my friend had a fallout 3 theme and anothr on with flames. How do you get this?
Re: iPhone icons and wallpaper themes
I have a clearer thing that can help explain what it said. I think that apple or iTunes should sell different springboard themes

People with different icons and fonts have jailbroken their phones and used various utilities to get those results.
I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.

Yah i know I just dnt want to jailbreak it bc I heard that I can potentially ruin the iPhone or itouch
Re: iPhone icons and wallpaper themes
Jailbreakig only ruins it if you install something you shouldent otherwise the backrounding is nice and themes are cool

iPhone OS 4.0 addresses one of the issues the original poster raised allowing customized backgrounds on the home panel. To that I would say "it's about time."
However, I think it's understandable why Apple doesn't have any built in means to change icons.

If you're used to Apple and it's entire history and have been using their products for decades, then it's understandable in the sense that it's what you'd expect from Apple. Apple's side of the story is, they want to maintain a uniform and predictable user experience - that anyone can jump from any iPhone to any other iPhone and immediately feel at home. It's the same way it's always been on Macs.
If you really value that capability that much, you're free to buy any phone from any other manufacturer you want. Apple's strategy seems to have worked out for them so, I'm betting they're not changing any time soon.
