Does any one have a idea on how to edit the app names? I have seen somebodys phone and they had the facebook app renamed. What do you do?

Re: Apps
Are you sure about that? I can't be sure, but if that's true then it's probably some sort of hack applied via jailbreaking the phone. I believe the general consensus here is that it's not recommended, but I could be wrong. Specific instructions for Jailbreaking are not permitted at Info-Mac, but Google will provide plenty.ChaseReed wrote:Does any one have a idea on how to edit the app names? I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.

It wasn't jailbroken; when I asked her she had no idea what that meant

Re: Apps
Well, there definitely isn't any way to rename apps on an unmodified iPhone, so even if she doesn't know, there's definitely something going on there... unless you're simply mistaken? What is this supposedly renamed app called?

Re: Apps
The folder iPod, iPhone & Apple TV is the correct folder to ask any questions related to iPhones. This specific topic, titled Apps is not the appropriate place to ask new questions - it is only for responses to the original post created by member ChaseReed about renaming iPhone apps.
Topics and folders are two different things. A folder covers a broad category like iPod, iPhone & Apple TV. Each folder contains many topics that are more specific, like "Problem with Facebook app" for example. Each topic would contain posts pertaining to that specific topic.
