Hey guys...i'm a newbie to iWeb, but i've designed a website and I just bought a domain name from godaddy.com. now i am curious as to how the heck i am supposed to upload to the web. Do i need to get a host in order to post the website to? if so can i use something like blogger as a host spot to upload my website too or do i need to pay additional fees from some web hosting service in order to upload from iweb??
any help would be appreciated.

Re: iWeb and uploading?
You need a host, yes. No you cannot use blogger, although you can redirect your domain to your blogger blog, in which case you wouldnt use iWeb.
Checkout DreamHost (http://www.dreamhost.com) it's the one we use.
You can configure iWeb to upload directly to your DreamHost server once you purchase a hosting plan. It's simple and efficient.

I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.

GoDaddy itself offers hosting as well, but you are not obligated to them just because you bought the domain name there -- they just need to "forward" the domain to wherever you end up hosting the web site. I use Mobile Me and have GoDaddy redirect my domain there. That way I can have multiple domains all going to my various "sites" on MM.
