Problem with MacBook Air

Post by Dogman » September 23rd, 2014, 4:15 pm

Hello,
I am new to this forum. Recently I began to notice a "behaviour" by my MacBook Air. When I held it on the left side near the shift and the fn buttons, my iTunes kicks in with one of the songs i my music library. I am willing to listen to anybody give me a direction regarding getting this fixed as I love my MacBook Air! Thanks. Bernard

If you go to System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Shortcuts, do you see anything listed there that would start up iTunes?
I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.

How old is your MBA and do you have Applecare? Even is you don't have Applecare, the mac still has a 1 year warranty. I'd bring it to an Apple Store and have them take a look.

Thank you Turboladdade and Mark for your suggestions. I did check the System Preferences suggestion and there was nothing listed there to start up iTunes. I do have Applecare and am planning to take it to a Apple Store close-by. Thanking you for your input. Bernard
