I tried to use Messages on my Mac today to send something to a colleague's iPhone and was unable to do so. On investigation I found that my iCloud account in the accounts list was marked Inactive (and there is only that and Bonjour - also inactive - in the list).
Nothing I have tried so far has activated it. Effectively, then, Messages is unusable on my Macbook. It works fine on my iPhone, so I don't think the problem is just with my iCloud account (and everything else seems to work with it anyway). Any ideas, anyone?
Thanks.
Mark
