"Utopia" is a color vision and reflex test, by G.E-Farese & N.Graner.
Its name is an allusion to a short story by Jorge Luis Borges.
It should work on any Macintosh with at least 256 colors.

A window is filled with squares of different colors. One of these
colors is unique, whereas the others appear at least twice. The aim
of the game is to click as fast as possible on the unique color.

At the beginning, this unique color is very different from the other
ones, but they get progressively closer, and also fainter. The game
is thus harder and harder.
The difficulty can be changed thanks to many different options, from
quite easy children games to monstruous configurations reserved for
gifted mutants. The replacement of colors by sets of pictures makes
the game even more challenging. Some new picture sets are proposed
in version 1.1.0. The program also proposes a two-player version.

"Utopia" is freeware, but if you like it, please consider making a
donation to your local or national Retinal Degeneration association
(see http://www.irpa.org/).
