Are either of your phones jailbroken? Or maybe there is something going wrong with iPhones in Singapore?

Mine is not jailbreak. App Store problem is not me only ( also not Singapore only) . I have seen at Apple web community ,a lot of people got the same problem like me from all over the world. May be Apple server problem!

Re: App Store Category Problem
I only suggested because the only two people who have reported it here at Info-Mac have both been from Singapore, which represents an unusually high influx of Singaporeans around these parts. That being said, this particular user sees Categories just fine.

Mine is 3.1.3
Re: App Store Category Problem
I'm using a jailbroken/unlocked iPhone with 3.1.2 and having no problems with "Categories" on the App Store.
Cheers

Was there anything you did to get it working? Or did it just start working all by itself?

Re: App Store Category Problem
Oh, actually, that might have been what was causing your problems. You need to re-agree to those terms from time to time as Apple updates and modifies them. I believe this most recent one was in preparation of iPad-specific features.

Re: App Store Category Problem
Hi! I'm a newby & just wondering what "Jailbroken" means? Also I'm experiencing a constant APPLE request for my password. It's really getting annoying! I turned phone off several times hoping to make corrections. Now even entering some of my apps this pops up again? Any ideas? I need to report the problem. Not sure How to get the help. Went to apple site & techs wanted 2 help for price$! I payed for warranty. Any help here much appreciated! Blessens To U All! TU Ahead Of Time!!!

Re: App Store Category Problem
Jailbreaking is a method of hacking your iPhone. It is frowned upon by Apple. Your iPhone is probably asking for an iTunes password to update your apps. Apps are updated quite frequently by their developers and your iPhone will ask for a password every time an app needs an update.
Is that what you're seeing?

Re: App Store Category Problem
TU! Yes! And the question about Jailbreaking is present here only because in a couple other folders in here the term was used. I was just wondering. I bought my iPhone directly from Apple. The enter password is still popping up. I think you already helped me by letting me know to sync my iPhone off my brothers desktop could be my issue here! TU AGAIN! Most Gratefull! Blessens...
