Done the taking out the battery, cable etc. Doesnt work. Also pressing shift znd cntrl command etc
Any other suggestions anyone? It starts up for half a second and goes dead again. Not enough time to show anything on screen or for me to do much to it.

Sounds like a power management issue to me. That would be my guess.
I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.
